Reproduction interior seats are now available and door panels will be followed shortly. Members of the 10th Anniversary Web Site stay up to date via email and are working on a group buy-out to reduce the cost from $995 to about $925. Here is information from the emails:

I thought you would like to know that Ames Performance has just announced
release of the 79 tenth anniversary full seatcovers kit in leather with

Performance years and Ames had samples of the rear seat ctr with the bird
at the Spring Swap meet here in Englishtown NJ this weekend and according
to Steve Ames expect the product to be available in about 4 weeks at $
995.00 for the set

Bryan, please get me the updated list of all members. Too many are bouncing back. I am only going to include people from the Internet Firebird newsgroup (alt.autos.camaro.firebird) that have contacted you to be part of the mailing list for the discount. Not doing all the work and have them benefit too [:)] . Lol.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. Here is what we can do.. If you can purchase 10 complete seat kits we will drop the price to $925.00 per set and when the door panels are actually available we can probably work a similar discount. Contact me if you have any questions.

I understand Ames is going to offer a reproduction 10th Anniversary Trans Am
interior kit in leather and door panels made by PUI.

I've attached a mailing list from the 10th Anniversary newsgroup of all people that own these cars.

Would Ames consider a group discount on either the seat cover kit, the door panels or both if enough people were to place an order?

I would appreciate hearing from you on this and if you would consider entertaining such an offer.

I have attached a spreadsheet of all interested parties among this group and others who have replied to me with such interest.
